Modular stamps
This project focused on creating large modular stamps for community printmaking workshops, commissioned by a charitable organisation. The design featured an interchangeable sliding mechanism with ergonomic threaded handles, allowing rubber stamp components to be easily swapped in and out. All stamp bodies were 3D printed in TPU, with careful testing of infill density, wall thickness, surface ironing, and print orientation to achieve optimal stamping performance. Beyond functionality, the project became a material exploration of additive manufacturing, exploring how 3D printing can enhance usability, durability, and accessibility in creative tools.
