I chose to 3D print my jewellery pieces using an FDM printer, which naturally results in visible layer lines. Rather than viewing these as imperfections, I decided to embrace them, amplifying their presence to highlight the unique, glitchy, and unpredictable qualities that digital manufacturing can bring. By leaning into these characteristics, my designs reflect the raw, digital-led process, showcasing the intersection of technology and craftsmanship in an unexpected and intentional way.
