Exploring hyper-consumption through generative creation
EFFORTLESS OBJECTS
Effortless Objects was my individual design component within my Master’s final project: the collaborative Industry 5.0 investigation. This work examined consumerism and generative design through an AI-driven system capable of producing an infinite series of ring designs. Positioned within the recycling ecosystem created with Nick — through the shredder and extruder — the project critically explored the paradox of sustaining hyper-consumption within a sustainable system. By pairing generative abundance with circular material flows, Effortless Objects questioned the role of design in shaping economies of desire, production, and waste.
